Office staff – Operations assistant.
This job offers a challenging variety of tasks and an opportunity to be involved in many aspects of a transport company. The position includes taking bookings by phone and email from customers and following up queries so an excellent telephone manner is essential. Good keyboard skills and knowledge of excel package are required to ensure speedy responses and professional reporting.
The successful applicant will have previous experience in a call-centre or transport environment and will be able to demonstrate proven customer care and attention to detail.
There are many aspects to this position including co-ordinating jobs with other members of the team, contacting drivers, preparing reports for customers and inter-action with other transport suppliers.
A hands-on, can-do attitude along with a keenness to progress would be encouraged and a good geographical knowledge of Scotland would be preferred.

We work with numerous large organisations including NHS Scotland and Scottish Government providing vital services to support their operation. While most of our work is within Office Hours our NHS customers operate 24/7/365 and require cover throughout. We therefore need drivers willing to commit to additional out-of-hours work on an on-call basis and an enhanced rate is paid for this work. All training, information and items necessary to carry out this work will be provided.
We have set runs all over Scotland as well as ad hoc circuit work. This can be local or national and an ability and willingness to be flexible is required. You should have good geographical knowledge and a suitable vehicle for the work provided.

We require a temporary van driver to assist with our busy Edinburgh same day deliveries.
Drivers will collect their vehicle daily at our Edinburgh depot and report to the duty controllers to be allocated their deliveries for the day.
Shifts will be 40 hours per week, Monday > Friday between the hours of 08:00am & 18:00pm.
Additional shifts may be available and degree of flexibility will be required.
Hourly rate will be £8.92 per hour.
Drivers should be of smart appearance and have a good geographical knowledge of Edinburgh and the central belt. Uniform and PDA will be supplied.
